MR CHAMBERLAIN.
Mr Ch.imberbin, m a speech at the Liberal Unioniss Conference, lauded the Irish policy of the Government; Which he said had been the cause of reducing crime m Ireland. It had also secured a return of peace and order and the fostering of industries. The policy of the Government, he continued, was more satisfactory, liberal, democratic, and generous than that of Mr Gladstone's Ministry. He concluded by statiog that no Town Council or Road Board would have toleratsd tor one week the j mpertinence and obstruction the House of Commons has suffered for years.
