The case of tbe Deputy Official Asslgne. against FarquhoreoQ Prootor waß oonoluded after we went to press yesterday.
The evidence having, been concluded His Honor ordered that the deed of atßignment given by the bankrupt Alexander Proctor, should be Heolared ft mortfjoge. It appeared from the evidence that, the bankrupt, m addition to the £100 oaab, had received » further sum of £45 This would have to be deducted from the £150 the Assignee now sought to recover, and the order of the Court would be that Fa«quh»rson Proolor pay to the Assignee within twenty-one days the balance of £105 Interest *ras allowed at the rate of 8 per cent on the advances. It was ordered that eight weeks' notloe of sale under the mortgage should be given. PROOF OF DEBT. jRe Alexander Prootor— Motion to admit proof of debt of James Prootor — Mr Oathbertson for the applicant, Me OaygUl for the Offiolal Assignee.— Mr OaygUl submitted that the motion was bad, inasmuoh aa notloe had not been given within the specified time. — His Hmor upheld the objection and dismissed the motion with costs. The Court then rose.
