Btdztby, April 16. Here Steubel, recently appointed German Consul at Samoa, has arrived m Sydney. Heavy rains have fallen during the last two days, interrupting communication on the overland line, and delaying cable messages. The ketch Maggie Taylor foundered off Camden Town, and four persons were drowned — two seamen named Orleans and Hogg, and Mrs Taylor and her son, passengers.
