THE NAPIER SUICIDE

Napujb, April 16. Al the Inquest on the body of David Balbarry, a verdlot of suicide while temporarily insane was given. The deceased left a letter addressed to Mr Pattern Oolleotor of Oastoms, saying that through* life ha had contemplated sotolde. Christ died to cave mankind, he died to MT6 his creditors and had no fear for his ■on!, bat believed death to be a dreamless aleep. If there were means of oommnnleatlon between the vlstble and tba Invisible worlds they woold wake np friends If they oonld get a ebaooe. Deceased's life was Insured with the Government for £1600. He arrived In Napier In 1888 as managing clerk to Watt Bros., and was afterward* agent for the New Zealand Shipping Company and Imperial Fir* Insurance Oimpany. Ha leaves a widow •ad aeven children.
