A NEW INVENTION.
At Elswick works an experiment has been made with a new process of \ plating iron with copper, which has recently been patented m England by Capt. L. Prout, the well-known mining manager and speculator, of South Australia. The experiment was successful, but it is doubtful whether the process is applicable to large plates.
