Statutory Declaration.— l, Franz Baabe, Iron bark, Sandhurst, m the oolony of Victoria, Australia, do solemnly and sincerely deoUre that on the 25th June, 1877, my son Alfred, six years of ago, was accidentally hurt with an. axe on his knee. lat once took all pains to secure medical assistance. However, m spite of all efforts, on tho 27t8 August, 1877, the opinion y/aa given by Dr Macgillivray that an amputation of tho injured limb had become imperative, m order to save life. At this junoturo I called on Mesßrs Sander and Sons, proouring some of their Extraot of the Eucalyptus Globulus, and by the application of the same I had the satisfaction of seeing my son within a fortnight put of all danger, and to-day ho is recovered. I may juct add that it was when the crisis had been reaohod that the Extract referred to was first applied, and I make this Bolemn declaration, -oto. — | Franz Baade.
