THE PLOT TO MURDER THE CZAR.
St. Pbtbrsbubo, Mnroh 30 It appears that the. plot which was frustrated by the discovery of the attempt to wreck the train conveying the Czar and Czarina to Gatschina, extended throughout Russia, and that a series of attempts against the life of the Czar and officials had been arranged. Numerous arrests have been made at St. Petersburg, * Moscow, Kieff, and liharkoff, chiefly of Jews. The plot was discovered through an explosion which occured at Zurich, which killed & Jewish student who organised an attempt on the life of the Czar m March, 1888.
