It 1) usually packed In kegs of native wood omUlnlog about 651b0 nett, and Is put down freab, mildly corned, fall salted, or In pickled rolls, and oan be iold m thi* country at prloeß which oompare favor ibly with the figures charged for Continental, American, and Home klods. The butter when it arrived was found to be of splendid quality, mildly pswdt>red, and very sweet. On Monday It was submitted for examination and opinion of the following members of the Irvino Farmers' Society, aud tbelr verdlot Is very favorable, v, z, that they considered it to be of very good quality : Arch Fulton, Newhouae ; David Steven aon, Auohengate ; Gen. Faiker, Meadow head ; William Stevenson, merobant ; Hugh Gray, Leggat ; Hugh Beverldge, Llttlentone; and Kobert Kerr K'lwlnnlng. Several produce merchants, Including Messrs Orr and Anderson. Mr Longmolr, and others, to whom It yran submitted, likewise passed a favorably verdict, deolariog it to bi tqoal to many of the Irish bvinda. We understand that several of the wholesale homes la the district have arranged to open an account with the London agents, and tetallors may soon have an opportunity of testing the produce of one of our moat enterprising Oolonles.
