He details bis examination of the deposits, the general result of which was to uhow that the wash ww m moßt instances very thin though there were unconfirmed reports of deposits as much as thirteen feet thick. As to the paying prospects Mr McKay says more must be done before he can pronounce decidedly, but tbat from the indicetiom he is inciaed to think other aiid much richer deposits may be found.
