London, March 29 An Australian cargo of wheat has been sold at 35s od. •

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office, dated March 29th :—

Frozen Meat— The mutton market is better. Wellington and Canterbury mutton is worth 4d and 4jH}d per lb respectively. Tallow — There is a fair demand, Good beef and mutton tallow are worth 24s 3d and 25s 9d respectively. London, M arote 30. New Zealand hemp, £tf 5s and (Received April 1, 12.30 p.m ) London, Mar oh £1. At the auctions yesterday, 876 casks of tallow were offered, of which 700 were sold. Medium mutton fetched 245; medium beef, 21s 6d. The English wheat market is lifeless, the Continental changing for the worse, and the American weak and declining. New Zealand wheat, on passage, averages 363. New Zealand flour, ex store, 265. (Received April 1, 2.2 p.m.) B?dnby, April 1 'Wheat has an advancing tendency, and holders are firm m their demands for 5s Bd. Adelaide, April 1. Wheat is quiet, but steady at 5s id.
