The report of the Rabbit Commission is ready, but will not be made public till it is presented to Parliament. With regard to the refusal of M. Pasteur to allow any experiments to be made with anthrax, the Commission- asked that definite experiments should be made to thoroughly test the effect of chicken cholera. M. Pasteur's representatives desired to expose infected food m certain parts of the Colony, but the Commission v^uld not agree to this until the other experiments had shown that the disease would spread as described.
