(Received March 25, 1221 p m.) London. March 24. Tallow is firm and advancing. At the auctions yesterday 650 casks were offered and sold as follows : — Medium mutton, 28s 6d ; medium beef, 225. The English wheat market is depressed. The Continental is declining, but the American shows a slight improvement. Forward business is weak and shows a decline. Arrivals of foreign wheat are large, and off coast cargoes meet an unready sale.
