Statutory Declaration.— l, Franz' Eaabe, Ironbarkj Sandhurst, m the cojoiny of Victoria, Australia, dp solemnly apd sincerely declare that on the 25th June, 1877, my sou Alfred, six years of age, was accidentally hurt with an axe on. hip knee. lat onoe took all 'pains fio secure medical assistance. However, m spite of all efforts, on tbe 2? th August, 1877, the, opiflipn .was given by Dr Maogillivray that an amputation of the injured limb had become imperative, m order to save life. At this juncture I called on Messrs Sander and Sons, proouring some of their Extraot of the Eucalyptus Globulus, and by the application of thesame I had the satisfaction of seeing my sou withipt a; fortnight out of , all danger, and' to-day' hefts recovered. I may just* add that it was when the orisis had been readied that the Extraot referred to was Qrst applied, and I make this solemn declaration, etc— • Fbanz Eaabe.
