Messrs Goldsbrough, Mort, and 00. report under date Sydney, Maroh 13th, as follows : — Transactions m wheat have been numerous during the week, the increased values m Melbourne having induced a speculative demand. New Zealand wheat is meeting with strong enquiry owing to the short supply of Viotorian and Adelaide m the market. Oats have maintained last week's values, and, as large parcels are been, bought for shipment to Melbourne, prices may be expeoted to firm. Chaff is firm, but potatoes are steadily declining consequent on regular large supplies from the neighboring colonies. We quote — Milling Wheat — Colonial to 5s 3d ; New Zealand to 5s (on rail); seoond milling, 4s 4d to 4s 5dJ. CmcKPEED, 8s 3d to 3s 9£d. Oats, 2s 4d to 2s 11 Jd. Potatoes— Warrnambools to £4 10s ; circulars to £5 10s ; New Zealand to £5 per ton . Chaff— Victorian to £7; Adelaide to £7 10s ; New Zealand to £6 per ton.
