VICTORIAN POLITICS.
MELBOUBNE, March '£&. Mr Davies, the Speaker, Sir Bryan O'Loughlen and Messrs Dow and Wixon have been returned unopposed. Two hundred and thirty candidates have been nominated, out of which number ons hundred and thirty are m favor of the Government. A hundred and forty oppose an increase of the Stock tax.
