Berry Lomnx; m his business The aotlon was brought voder the Master and Apprentice Aot, seotlon 15 It appeared that disputes had arisen between the < master and apprentice, who had been < dismissed, but taken on again. Lomax bad gone to the races agaia&t the wiaheß of his master, who was under the impression tbat he could discharge an apprentice foe dlaobedlenoe to orders. There had been general dissatisfaction, and tbe master had tried to get the indentures cancelled because the boy bad not made an attempt to study the business He bad also refused to wash bottles when ordered, and his general conduct was not good. The Benoh, ln giving their decision, said tbey were of opinion that there had been no neglect ln teaching Lotn.x tbe business, but, Mr Wakefield had no power to break the indentures They, therefore, ordered him to take Lomax to fulfil his term, and fined him ls and costs 7a.
