He was riding a quiet horse bareback holding the tether rope attaobed to the horse's neck on his arm. The boy fell and startled the horse whloh bolted. The rope oolled round the lad's body and be was dragged abont 600 yards aoross a paddook studded with tree stamps. When the horse stopped the boy was dead and the body fearfully mutilated.
