The limit Is lowt, and the goods belong to what are known m the railway tariff as Olaes E. Tbe new rates apply to poultry, butter, eggs, honey, game, oheese, fish, seeds, etc. For example, living poultry and game, 281 b weight, can be carried 30 miles for la, or 50 miles for Is Cd; 561 b oan be carried 20 miles for Is 2d, ai d 50 miles for Is lid, while 1121 b oan be carried 20 miles for Is 6i, and 50 miles for 2* lid. For butter and oheese (packed), the'following are the rates, for 561 b, the rate for 20 miles is lOd ; for 50 miles, Is 7d ; for 84 b tho rate for 20 miles is lid; for 40 miles, la 9i.
