The U.B.S. Trenton, flying the flag of Admiral Klmberloy, waa expected to arrive dally, aa also were the American man-of-war Mohican and Mon* oneahela, from San ITranolaoo, The " Samoan Times " of Ifarch 2 states that on the 23rd lost In the evening, the German troopa fired at • Samoan native passing by with a satchel on hla shoulder, who did not stop when ordered to, but, evidently frightened, ran awaj. Two or three more of the guard who were intiJe rushed oat and fired after the runaway and i hit a native woman In the ylotnlty.
