Paris, Maroh 18 A further sum of forty million franos* is required to tide the Oomptoir d'Escompteover its difficulties. Of this amount the Bank of France is willing to advance half if the balance is subscribed outside. Altogether, thirty-six million franca have been provided, and the shares m the Oomptoir have closed at two hundred and twenty francs.
