■■ The Comptoir d'Eecompte and copper syndicate are recovering from the effects of the panic caused by the suicide of the manager of the former.

Fa bis. Maroh 15. The affairs of the Comptoir d'Escompte de Paris have experienced a rel-ipse, and a panic is feared. It is rumoured that the Directors of the Bank of France have resigned, as a protest against the action of the officers of the Bank m making advances to the Comptoir d'Escornpte. It is admitted that one Director has resigned m consequence of this action.
