CORRESPONDENCE. Letters were read an follows :— From the Union luanr»nce Company, re insurance. The Chairman stated that he had redaoed the insarauoe on the buildings to £500. Hia action was ap proved.— From the 'Ir^aaury, advising payment of rates on Grown Landa, From the Property fax Commissioner, forwarding fctatement of vafueu. The Olerk was instructed to apply to tho Oounoilo of the two adjoialnj? ooun'les for loformaion aa | to the acreage and raloee of the agrionltaral and paetoral lnnds m those counties and to the other Roai Boards m the Ashbarton County for similar Information. —From Mesira Ftiedia»der Broß., making permission to make a siding across the road to their store at Lyndharat. Mr Devery applied for extension of time on bio oontraot for ehlnglicg Lyndhurat Road* Grunted. REPAIRS. Mr Cameron undertook to do the neoessary repairs to gaily on West Coast Road for 10a, and to make a new water eroding near the Homos t««d for the earn of £5. ACCOUNTS Accounts to tho amount of £29 7s Id were passed for payment, and the Board adjourned
