Before the Parnell Commission to-day George Mulqueeny deposed that knivei to be used m the murder which took place m Phoenix Park were previously exhibited at the offices of the League, Westminster. He confirmed the statement previously elicited that Parnell paid Byrne £100. The case for the " Times " has been closed, and npon the application of Sir Charles Russell the Commission adjourned to the 2nd April. Sir Ohas. Russell anticipates calling* 400 witnesses for the defence m the , " Times "-Parnell case. Mr Wm. O'Brien and Mr B. Harrington, M.P.'s respectively for Cork North east and Kerry West, have been leleased from imprisonment m order to prepare their defence on charges brought against them before the "Times"* Parnell Commission. They were required to undertake that they wonld not take advantage of their release to renew political agitation. (Reoeived March 16, 12 64 p.m.) London, Maroh 14. The " Times " declares that it awaijts with perfect confidence the result of aa impartial and thorough enquiry into* Parneilism.
