New Zealand is quoted at 4s 6d to ss, at which prices some considerable parcels hays been sold. Melbourne, March 33 Official statistics give the-total wheat yield at 8,633,000 bushels, an average of 7 'll bushels per acre. Last year the total yield was 13,328,000 bushels, and the average 1081 bushels per acre. This year the area under wheat was slightly over 18,000 acres more than last year. The apparent surplus for export is 1 376,000 bushels. Fouth Australia's estimate for export is 2,334,000 bushels. According to these figures the surpluses of Victoria and Adelaide will fall far short of the requirements of New South Wales. The falling off m oats, potatoes and hay is very great. Oats show a falling off of 7 bushels per acre, potatoes 3 09 tons, and hay "75 tons per acre. Wheat is quoted at 5s s£d.
