Mr T. Bullock reports for the period ending Saturday, Maroh 9th :— On account of harvest operations very little business has been done lately, but on Saturday 28 horses were brought forward for tho day'B sale. There was a better attendance of farmers and others, and eeveral buyers present for medium draughts which could not be supplied. Up to £28 10s was obtained for a 5 year old mare, and on the previous Saturday j £25 for a gelding. Oat of tho dajr'e entry of 28, 13 were sold at the following prices, viz;— Medium draughts, £10, £1215«, £16 op to £28 10s ; aged, £5 ss, £6, £6, £8 10s ; hacks, £5, £6, £7. Light harness horses, only those of an inferior description changing j hands at from £1 2s 6d to £4.
