THE COMPTOIR D'ESCOMPTE.
Pabis, Maroh 11. The Press insist that the Comptoir d'Escornpte should be re-organised, and that the new Company should continue business exclusively of the liability on guarantee to the Copper Syndicate, and thus ensure the repayment of deposits. All the depositors m the Comptoir d'Escompte have been paid. It is reported that the Shanghai branch of the Bank suspended payment temporarily! owing to lack of specie.
