THE SAN FRANCISCO SERVICE
It is reported that Mr Spreckles i has offered if his Mail contract via Sao Francisco is renewed, to build several magnificent boats for a fortnightly service, including Wellington and Melbourne as porrs of call. Under this arrangement some of the boats would proceed to San Francisco from Auckland and Sydney, as at present, and the others from Wellington and Mel* bourne. *•
