Humph* les also charged Rawson with belog unduly h flaeneed In the ad- 1 ministration of jaatloe by Mr Samuel and j to the prejudice of Humphries. Michael Byrne oharged Rawson with Impropriety as Registrar of the Supreme Oourt m the drawing up and completion of Orders. Mr Jalllcoe asked for tho time to be extended for the filing of charges as Kople oonld not come to Interview him fore Saturday, and a number of wittresses had bten subpoenaed from Hawera, Manata, and other places. He a«ked tbe Commission to adjourn to the middle of next week. The Oommlislon thought the oharges ■snt In ahould be firat disposed of. Mr Rawson thought It would be prejudicial If he had to reply to auy oharge before all were lv. Mr Jell!ot-e agreed that Mr Rawson's application waa fair, as no' accused person should be asked to answer obarges pteoosneal. Commissioner Reld said that If Mr JelHooa oomdnenoed and showed a strong prima facie oase, the Oommlsslon would, perhaps, oonalder oalllng witnesses and paring expenses, Mr Jalllcoe took Humphries' oharge first and examined Wallatb, after whtob .the Oommlsslon adjourned to 2 p.m.
