A NARROW ESCAPE.
The ship KenHwortb ; from Gisborne, narrowly escaped collision with a large steamer, steering as if bound for Cook's Strait on the night of the 25th ult. The steamer steered right down on the vessel despite of flare-ups. The schooner kept away to such an extent that her main-boom came over the damaged rigging.
