Joseph Harry Dentley alias Brown who was arrested at the Bluff yesterday on a charge of laroeny as a bailee at Wellington was brought before the Resident Magistrate yesterday afternoon . The polloe explained thai tbe spoused was arrested on a telegram, that tho warrant was oomlng by post, The Magistrate said he had no power to deal with the aooused unless the warrant was prodqqed and accordingly dieohirged him. Bently was Immediately re- arrested by the polloe and brought before Mr Stock, a Justice, tbls morning, who again discharged him on similar ground . The prisoner wai once mors re-arrested, and will be detained until the warrant oomes to hand.
