The following cable message from Goldsborough, Mort and Co., dated Sydney, 26th February, has been received m Christchurch : — Tuscan milling wheat, prime quality, sacks m, 4s to 4s 6d ; chickwheat, 2s nd to 3s sc!; maize, prime quality, sacks m, to 3s iod j weevily, 2s yd ; oats, 2s $1 to 3s id; bran, io#d; potatoes, £(> 10s, demand weak, values declining. (Received March 2, 12 24 p.m.) London, March 1. The Bank reserve is ;£i 4,886,000 j percentage to liabilities 42 jj ; consols 99 ; New Zealand fours 103, firm.
