Through a telegraphic) mistake the auctioneer reoeived iaatraotlons to withdraw runs 228 and 228*, Hawkdun Station Maniototo, and runs 28 and 23a were the first offered. There was considerable oonapefUioio, and ultimately they were knocked down to Robert Campbell aud Sons for twenty-one yeara for £3CO and £251 respectively.
