WAKANni WATBR SUPPLY DISTRICT. The special order uonstliutlng this district was confirmed. LYTTELTON HABBOR, BOARD. On the motion of tbe Chairman, seconded by Mr Frledlander, Mr E. O. Wright wbb oleoted tha representative of the Oonnoll on the Lyttelton Harbor Board. Mr Frledlander warmly enlogised the action of Mr Wright In fighting for a reduction In wharfage charges, and on bis motion, aeoonded by Mr Grlgg, It was resolved:—" That this Council endorses tbe aotloo of Ita member on tbe Harbor Board to have tbe present wharfage charges reduoed, and farther, would urge as Its reason that It It Inadvisable that so mnoh of the Board's annual Inoome should be expended on permanent Improvements,"
