A special mooting of members of tha District Grand Lodge of Auck'aud, Knglish Constitution, wm held to-night te the proposed United Grand Lodgo of Freemasons for New Zealand. There was a large attendance, and great i itorest waa manifested m tin question. The fol owing resolution was unanimously passed : — • : That m tha opinion of this meeting it is not at present advisable to form a United Grand Lodge for New Zealand, and th it this meeting would desire 'ho Uistriot
Grand Lodgo of Auckland, English Constitution, to take su<h eteps as it may deem expedient to make the opinion of members known to the Grand Lodge of England."
