Dusbdot, February 27. William Gamming*, 11 yean of age, died yesterday under chloroform administered for the performance of a serious operation. Tbe lad was attended by Drs Oiughtrey and Teevan, and had on two previous occasion* been given a greater qaantlty of aosaithetlo wlthont 111 result*. Every care was taken, DrTeevan administering the chloroform and Dr Oougbtrey operating, but tbe patient died from aynoope of the heart daring the operation.
