The casts consisted of mix«d goods with a large qaantity of dniggettlngs for making underskirts on whloh there is a 20 per oent ad valorem doty and these had been Involoed as striped shirtings and eottrad at the enstoms as shirtings, whloh tre free. No doubt Government will at once institute proceedings.
