Adilaidi, Febrtury 31. At Lake Torrens to-day a trial was made with « boat for which a patent has just been secured. Inuring the progress of the trial the boat, which had twenty persons on board, overturned, anfi all were precipitated into the water. Many swam ashore, but a boy named Thomas, a man who has not been identified, and ijsher, the patentee, were drowned. Another boy i is missing, and it is feared that he, along I with icveral others, hit beeo drowned! '
