Fat Cattle — The entry of beef w»s decidedly less than it has been for 10 me months, though the quality wbb exceptionally good In most cases. Best, m oonseqaenc, was slightly advanced m value. Some really prime sorts realised up to 18 j per 1001 b, tbojgh the general run of the market was below this. Stobb Gatths.— -Two or three good lines of young stock sold at very satisfactory price*. Borne 2-year-old steers resobed £3 12s 6d : heifers of that age up to £3 6a. Yearlings of good quality sold freely, some reaching £1 13s 6-. Pigs add Calves.— A very limited market o&ased those entered to be at a decided advantage. Store pigs .and wenners ware ia great demand and sold freely. Calves were fully up to last quotations.
