The Governments' of South and Western Australia have^ received an offer from an English syndicate to construct a railway from Roebuck Bay to Angle Pole on the trans-continental hoe, a distance of one thousand miles, the work to be completed m twelve years, the syndicate to receive 35,000 acres of land for every mile c*f ra.ilwty constructed.}
