Stdhiy, Febnury 13 The fire which broke out among the mail bags, containing a portion of the San Francisco mail, on board the express between Sydney and Melbourne, destroyed over a thousand letters, including five bags of mails for Tasmania. The fire was caused by a portion of the van grinding on the wheel, the woodwork being set on fire by the friction.
