FEDERAL COUNCIL.
(PE RPRESS ASSOCIATION.) Hobakt, February 5. The Federal Council concluded its sittings to-day. Under the proposed alteration m the constitution of the Council Western Australia will be allotted two representatives as soon as responsible government is granted to that colony. Tasmania is to have (our representatives, Queensland five, South Australia and Victoria six, and if New South Wales and New Zealand join they will have six and five representatives respectively.
