FURTHER FLOODS IN VICTORIA

Melbourne, February 5 News from Castlemaine and district states that the floods now being experienced thore are similar to the disasters which occurred about tbe New Year, but, if anything, more severe. They have undone all the repairs which were effected after the last visitation. Great damage has been caused throughout the district, and one man has been drowned. (Reoeived Fdbruary 6, 1.5 p.m.) Sydnry, February 6. Heavy lafns m the South and Southwest districts have caused floods at Albury and Cooma. Melbourne, February 6. Castlemaine is m a sorry plight. A waterspout burst near Mansfield, causing an indescribable scene of ruin. It swept everything away. A woman named King was drowned, and the house washed away.
