♦ . FATAL RIOTS. SUDDEN DEATH OF THE \ CROWN PRINCE, [Pan Pbess Association J Vikkna, January 30. The Hungarian Diet passed the second reading of the Army Bill by a large majority. Violent scenes took place during the debate, both iside and outside the Chamber Archduke Rudolph, Crown Prince of Austria, died suddenly of apoplexy. The sudden death of the Archduke Rudolph created a tremendous sensation throughout Austria. It appears that Prince Rudolph had arranged a shooting, party for. to-day, and not feeling well yesterday, retired to bed early. He was occupying a shooting lodge at Meyerlipg,.Baden. When the sporting guests assembled at the lodge this morning, the absence of Prince Rndolph caused his valet to enter ,his bedroom, when he found the Prince lying m bed quite dead, evidently having expired during the night from apoplexy. The Bourse and theatres are closed, and all business is suspended. The Reichstag also adjourned. Pksth, Jannary SO. Telegrams received from Vienna state that the Archdnke Rudolph died of heart disease at his country house. Another scpount says he was fatally wounded it/bile out shooting. Lohdon, January 31. The correspondent of the " Daily Mews " telegraphs that the death was bhe result of a rifle wound. Vienna, Jannary 31. The official assertion that the death of bhe Archduke Rudolph was the result of ipoplexy is disbelieved, and it is rumored ;hat he shot himself through the heart m a fit of jealousy. An eye-witness dedarts that he Baw marks of blood on the wdy when discovered by the valet. Universal sorrow at the death is expressed throughout the nation, and the lewa caused a profound sensation m all he European capitals. It is stated that Prince Rudolph for months had a pretentiment that he would meet with an larly death. The Empress broke the tews to the Emperor.
