FIRE BRIGADES' CONFERENCE
« (Fib Pbbsb Aebooiation.) < Kklson, January 30. The Nelson Fire Brigade held a npuoial meeting to-night to consider a proposal to Invite delegates from all the Brigades to bold their annual conference In Nelaon this year, the proposed gathering at Inveroargill having fallen through. It was unanimously resolved to send an Invitation, and it waa proposed that Instead of the Fire Brigades' Demonstration and contest, an exhibition of appllanses ahontd be hold if possible, as such exhibi'ionn would be moro bencfiolal.
