MnDonald, of Mangamahoe, who bad proceeded from home m the morning m crder.to bum bash. A boy was with him who^waa left m oharge of the horses on a ridge, and who was discovered by two boshmen and. taken home. McDonald's dogs' returned home In the evening by ., .themselves. Search was- made at once, but no traeo was found of the missing man who, it li feared, was overtaken by the firt and |got burned or suffooated. Mt la evident that deceased made an attempt to reach the boy, bnt In doing so got suffocated by smoke from the bosh, - The body la charred . It Is being brought to the Wangaebn Hotel, where an Inquest will be held to-morrow.
