A COLLISION.

Shortly »fter noon today the ship Rakala, wbloh Arrived early this morning from London, when being berthed along■lde the Gladstone pier, collided with No. 9 shed. Presently, the flying jibboom snapped off short. By this time the vassal's way had been considerably oheoked, but still she came with good force Into the wharf and outsome4 or 5 feet Into It, carrying away the bows atay-ohaln, and martingale stays.
