EXHIBITION AWARDS.

(PER PRESS. ABSOOUTIOir,) '■';■] Melbourne, January 28. The awards m exhibits of textile fabrics, clothing, and accessories were made to-day. The Mosgiel Woollea Factory, of Dunedio, secured first prize and special mention for yarns and tweeds; E. Maxwell, of Opunake, takes first prize for a collection of dried ferns jJ. Malcolm of Papakura, and W. G. Wells, of Hokitika, third, The Commissioners also awarded them honorable mention for collection of native ferns. Mr Brewin was awarded honorable mention for bush seeds and Mr CarSuch for dried apples. Mr Ward secured first "prize for enamelled leather. The Auckland Roller Mills and Mr f. C. Firth, Auckland, received first awards m flour, as did the Timaru Milling Company and Chamberlain Bros., of Masterton ; R. Allen and Co., af Timaru, and J. and T. Meeky Damaru, take second prizes m the same :lass. Mary Ryley, of Leppertori/andl 5. Kirkpatrick and Co., of Nelson, iwarded second prizes m jams. The Phoenix Confectionery Company, of Dunedin, take second for confectionery* md Mr J. L. Crumpe, of Devonport, ourth for biscuits.
