The body was recovered last night, another man well secured going down. | The air was so bad that a cm^le would : not burn four feet below tbe surface. . , Inveboabgill, Jaouary 20, David McQilivray, t»ged twelve years, son of a carpenter living sear tbe jetty, lost his life yesterday m the estuary, some miles from the; town. Deceased went out m a sailiDg boat with a party of young boys, and was struck on the bead and knocked overboard by the boom, the halyards having given way as the boat was going about. Ko dear account of the occurrence can be got from Ms companions, bnt from the fact that the boom, a heavy one, broke on his head, it is probable that the boy wss stunned and disabled for any attempt to keep afloat A son of Mr Mussen, Grown Lands Banger, wss thrown into the river at the same time, bnt swam till picked up.
