PROFFESSOR GEFFCKEN.

Berlin, January 17. With a view of justifying the prosecution against Professor Geffcken, the Emperor William has commanded the publication of the indictment. It is reported that Prince Bismarck has expressed the opinion that the diary of the Emperor William was .exploited and the facts distorted by foes of the Empire and himself personally. He also asserts that the proclamation of Emperor Frederick issued on hisr accession to the throne was written by Professor Geffcken m 1885 when the Emperor William was supposed to be m a critical condition.
