QUEENSLAND
Brisbane, January 15. Admiral Fairfax has cabled instructions to the commander of the gunboot Palumah to proceed to Sydney. The Government have not been consulted m the matter, and there is some objection on their part to alllow the vessel to leave the colony. Mr forehead, premier, denies that Government made any objection to the gunboat Pulumah proceeding to Sydney m accordance with the instructions received from Admiral Fairfax, The vessel will leave towards the end of the week.
